The portions are large and the prices are amazing! The drunken noodle was super tasty. By far one of the best Thai places in Vermont.

This place is delicious. Price points are typical for Essex. They offer good portions, flavorful dishes AND have a specific vegetarian/vegan menu. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that service although kind, is at times unpolished (getting my own condiments, take out containers etc).

The portions are very large! It was well cooked. Service was prompt and friendly. The place is big and a welcoming environment. I liked it but have only been there once. I can't speak for other dishes but they have great pad Thai!

Wonderful restaurant. Prices are reasonable and food was excellent. We also left my wife's wallet at the restaurant and they shipped it back to us at no cost, even though I offered to pay. Great restaurant run by considerate people. They deserve your business.

The food here is delightfully well balanced, with nuanced flavours complemented perfectly by attentive and friendly service who were extremely quick with answers to my questions and modifications because of allergies. I super appreciate not just the portion size, but how much of it was protein and not just what feels like filler. It's a light, airy, casual space, which was perfect for abruptly realising we needed dinner and weren't necessarily in our fanciest duds. I'm looking forward to coming back next time we are in the area; this is one of the best panangs I've had in a while.

I only have been here once but will be going back. I am surprised that everyone raves about Tiny Thai and I just happened to find Maliwan by accident because in my opinion the food is much better here. The khao soi is huge and is exactly what I want from this dish - noodles absolutely swimming in a decadent creamy sauce with pickled greens. And while there are multiple options to choose for meat, crispy fried chicken slices are what I will always go for which elevates this into one of those super rich, once-in-a-while, why not treat yourself experiences. This was delicious. I did order a 4 out of 5 on the heat scale and felt it wasn't hot at all, so maybe my waiter didn't believe me or maybe they are conservative with the spice here. If you are looking for your dish to be actually spicy I would recommend discussing with your server and letting them know that you know what you're asking for. I will definitely be back to try their Panang Duck which also looked delicious. Service was also prompt and polite and the space itself is spacious, clean and nice to sit down and enjoy a meal in.

This is really excellent food in a casual setting. All the dishes we had were very tasty, although mine was a tad too spicy. I know, I know. Why do I keep going to Thai restaurants if I'm a spice weenie? I guess I'm just a masochist. The entrees were accompanied by a huge amount of rice. Service was very good and relatively quick. The restaurant was also relatively quiet (with the exception of the 18 month old at our table). Would definitely return!
